Simply Greek Hershey, PA

When Simply Greek restaurant outgrew their space, they engaged Chris Dawson Architect to transform a former 3,500-square-foot Italian place on West Chocolate Avenue into their new casual dining and carry-out location. The design, which incorporated improved customer and staff circulation, brightened the dated interior with light, modern materials. The building exterior was also refreshed, and careful consideration was given to traffic flow on the site.

GBE provided full MEP design and documentation.  While we were able to reuse existing HVAC equipment for heating and cooling, new diffusers were specified for areas that would remain unchanged as well as for a new wood slat ceiling.  We assisted the lighting designer on the selection and installation of light fixtures in the correct locations and angle of incidence for displays.  LED strips were used discriminately to highlight focal areas.
